Life Coaching Really IS For You
Whilst I was back in the UK I went to visit an old boss of mine for a catch up and talk about old times. The guy in question was without doubt the best line manager (direct report) that I ever worked for and the fact that he has been promoted 3 times in the last 5 years and won numerous high level awards would suggest others think likewise.
He is a passionate advocate of coaching and we got to talk about all the training seminars, coaching courses and conventions he had been on during the last 5 years. Let me tell you it was a lot and some of the intensive stuff he had undergone recently as he moved up the corporate ladder was very impressive indeed.
One thing he said struck me though. He still maintains that the single best thing he ever did was hiring his own life coach 10 years ago. Actually, to be more accurate she was called an esteem coach then but her role in his development was the same as any professional personal coach.
He actually worked with her for a couple of years and spent a lot of money during the process but he is adamant that he has recouped that many times over and is continuing to do so.
I hear stories like this regularly from both my own clients and from peers in the coaching fraternity, yet still many people that haven’t been exposed to coaching think that it is too expensive or cannot help them.
I happen to disagree, but then I would wouldn’t I?
Spending a few hundred Dollars (or Pounds) on improving the quality of your life (should you want that of course) seems a no-brainer to me.
If you would like to know more about coaching give me a call. Even if you live outside Florida and want to hire a face-to-face coach I would still be happy to tell you why I am passionate about coaching and what I think it can do for you.
